Hi sewfriends!
I am back with another lookbook! This time I am sharing two ways to style the basic Tunic - Leggings combo!
Check out this video to see me in action:
Here are more pictures of the looks…
Casual Look: Perfect to run errands, go to the mall or for a walk in the park!

I drafted the tunic using as a base Burda 7645 tunic pattern. From the bust up, I left it intact. Below the bust, I drafted it for more fit and added the slits. I made 2 of those tunics and plan to make more!

For the leggings, I used McCall’s 6173. I am very slim so I had to modify the pattern a lot to have it fit. I used a knit with too much stretch so it does not fit as it should but I kind of like the slouchy look. I made a first version in a double knit but mess it up by cutting the same side of leg twice… I could not save it since the right side was textured and the wrong side wasn’t… I’m sad because the fit was perfect … ! I will use a double knit next time I make these leggings.
Date night look: Perfect for a dinner or for a night out with the girls!

Talk to you soon!

M6173 is the best leggings pattern ever! Very interesting to learn it may be big for slim women. It looks like you fixed that issue quite well. 🙂
Yes it was but that’s mainly because I have very slim legs…! Thank you ☺️
Had a great time working on this with you!!! Your looks are super cute!! Love the fabric you used for your tunic too💕
Thank you! Same here! I loved our collaboration. We should definitively make more! Take care 😘
