The cute little lace dress!

When I started this project, I was intimidated by all the lace I had to sew. I was so scared to mess up part of the fabric in the process… The thing is… I had an incident at church when I was a little girl… My mom had made me a pretty little lace dress. While playing with the other children at church… my dress got caught into something and half of my skirt teared apart… I was so ashamed… I was terrified by what my mom would say… Well in the end, she said nothing about it… I guess she knew the risks … LoL

This is McCalls 6893. I had a lot of pleasure making this dress. I bought the fabrics a year ago (remember my blue lace pencil skirt for the Pretty Girl Sew September 2014 sew-along?). I was waiting to find the perfect pattern for this fabric and I did!

The instructions were easy to follow.

Pattern Description: McCalls M6893

Pattern Sizing: 8-10-12-14 (I cut a size 8)

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes

Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? It was relatively easy to do. Nothing to complain about!

Fabric Used: Lace and knit lining

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: None. But if I make it again, I will add length to the torso. It was a little too short in the end (for my liking)
